I. Basic Provisions

  1. The data controller according to § 5 letter o) of Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended (hereinafter the "Act") is the agency PREKLADY A TLMOČENIE SK s.r.o., Company ID 46 015 906, located at Južná Trieda 48, 040 01 Košice (hereinafter the "controller").

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that person.
  4. The controller has not appointed a data protection officer.

II. Sources and Categories of Processed Personal Data

  1. The controller processes personal data that you have provided or that the controller has obtained from fulfilling your order.
  2. The controller processes your identification and contact information and information necessary for contract fulfillment.

III. Legal Grounds and Purpose of Processing Personal Data

  1. Legal grounds for processing personal data are:
    • the fulfillment of a contract between you and the controller under § 13(1)(b) of the Act,
    • the legitimate interest of the controller in direct marketing (especially for sending commercial messages and newsletters) under § 13(1)(f) of the Act,
    • your consent to processing for direct marketing (especially for sending commercial messages and newsletters) under § 13(1)(a) of the Act if there has been no product or service order.
  2. The purpose of processing personal data is:
    • handling your order and performing the rights and obligations arising from the contract between you and the controller; personal data required to successfully process the order (name and address, contact information) is necessary for contract conclusion and performance, and without it, the contract cannot be concluded or fulfilled by the controller,
    • sending commercial messages and conducting other marketing activities.
  3. No automatic individual decision-making as per § 28 of the Act is conducted by the controller. You have given explicit consent to this processing.

IV. Data Retention Period

  1. The controller retains personal data:
    • for the time necessary to perform the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller and to enforce claims from these contractual relationships (for a period of 15 years from the end of the contractual relationship),
    • until consent for processing for marketing purposes is revoked, up to a maximum of 10 years if data is processed based on consent.
  2. After the retention period has expired, the controller will delete the personal data.

V. Recipients of Personal Data (Controller's Subcontractors)

  1. Recipients of personal data are persons:
    • involved in delivering goods/services/processing payments under the contract,
    • providing marketing services.

VI. Your Rights

  1. Under the conditions specified in the Act, you have:
    • the right to access your personal data under § 21 of the Act,
    • the right to rectify data under § 22 of the Act, or to restrict processing under § 24 of the Act,
    • the right to delete data under § 23 of the Act,
    • the right to object to processing under § 27 of the Act,
    • the right to data portability under § 26 of the Act,
    • the right to withdraw consent for processing in writing or electronically at the controller’s address or email specified in Art. III of these conditions.
  2. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Office if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

VII. Conditions for Securing Personal Data

  1. The controller has taken all appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data.
  2. The controller has implemented technical measures to secure data storage and storage of personal data in paper form, particularly in a secure/encrypted form.
  3. The controller declares that only authorized persons have access to personal data.

VIII. Final Provisions

  1. By placing an order via the online order form, you confirm that you have read these privacy terms and accept them in full.
  2. The controller may update these terms. The new version of the privacy terms will be published on the controller’s website.
